When the patient first contacts us, photos of the patient are requested for the planning of their treatment.

Based on the photos, information is provided regarding the average treatment duration and cost.

When the patient comes to the clinic, a 3D digital scan is performed. If there are not many other issues such as cavities or the need for crowns, the patient only needs to come to Turkey for one day for the first session.

Four weeks after the first session, the clear aligners are produced and sent to our clinic to be delivered to the patient.

We need to see the patient again to deliver the aligners at this time. Small attachments, which are tooth-colored fillings, need to be added to some teeth so the aligners can move the teeth properly. Therefore, the aligners cannot be shipped to the patients. The patient needs to come to the clinic to receive them. The procedures during this session take approximately 1 hour. In this session, the patient will receive the number of aligners they need to use until the next control session.

Each aligner should be worn for 20-22 hours a day. A new aligner is used at the end of each week. How many days each aligner should be worn will be determined by your doctor. For some patients, a bi-weekly aligner change might be recommended.

Patients need to visit the clinic periodically during the treatment. These follow-up visits check if the treatment is progressing as planned and perform necessary intermediate activations required by the system. The intervals for these visits can be determined according to the patients’ schedules. Usually, the first follow-up is done 4-5 months later.

Patients can reach their doctors anytime via WhatsApp during their treatment.

Patients can track their treatment progress using the My Invisalign app. Through this app, patients can upload their photos, which their doctors can see and follow the treatment remotely.

For a treatment that typically lasts 1.5 years, the patient will need to come to Turkey a total of 3-4 times, including the final session after the treatment has started.
